Default 2002 TRX450 Foreman Oil Temp Light

got an 02' TRX450 Foreman S, and seem to be having trouble with the oil temp light. I've about narrowed it down to an electrical or connection issue. I've checked where it connects to the crankcase, which doesnt trigger anything with the light.. cant get into the gauge panel itself. It is on a digital gauge panel. After turning the key on, the light should not come on. This is not the case. The oil light comes on half the time, the other half it doesnt. The light flickers and blinks a little, kind of dim; then it will either glow bright or shut off. It may come on while riding, may not ever come on. This may not be enough info to help, but would be glad to answer any questions. Id just like to know where to start.

The most common problem is the oil alarm box...Up front center of 4wheeler up under front fender hanging on an cross member beside the cdi module..the smaller black box...tho....So poeple call it fan control module...Iam starting to see some of these module going out...the 4 wheelers are get 10 to 12 years old now an that about common on electrical componenets....

Well here is an redneck way to check this module out.....Most of the times this works for me 95 percent of the times....When your temp light comes on an stays on for an few seconds or more..take an screwdriver with the handle side up an hit that box will handle an see if the light goes off...I know some of the people out there will laugh or give an comment about this test this way..I said an redneck way thats works for me...
