was working in my shed when i heard a clunk and looked my wiring was smoking!!! and it was trying to start by itself, key was not on nothing was on, my icm (ignition control modual) is bad so i bypassed it with a momentary contact switch (push button from napa) i also have neons and aftermarket headlights and stock headlight,there both on a toggle and still work and dont smell burnt and wires arent gooey like there fryed. i disconnected the battery and left it at that what do i check and what do i do? should i just get a new wiring harness or ...? let me know, any opinion will help thanks!

 

Now thats a strange one.... I would would check all of the wires looking for worn spots or exposed wires that could be making contact.

 

somehow my starter celinoid wires were touching?!!!?!?!?! i dont know how but fryed my whole wiring harness and the spot that fryed was litterally 1in away from my gas line so that couldhave turned out bad. but it didnt so im just buying a brand new harness from honda
