I was just wondering is a rancher that much faster than a recon because there is this kid down the road he has a rancher and he always makes fun of my fourwheeler and i was just wondering if he can outrun me on take off and topend im pretty sure he can outrun me in topspeed but how would it rank on acceleration

My friend (who had a 2001 Rancher) and I (have a 2001 Recon) used to ride together alot. His Rancher ran about 55mph (Stock Speedometer), my Recon was about 48mph (GPS). As far as acceleration, it was about the same, but I could always lose him on the more technical trails.
