88 TRX350 dies when put in gear
i did some reading on other fourms but got no answer yet. some thought one way bearing on clutch, some CDI issue
i have been working on a friends 1988 trx350 for a while now it also stalls when put in gear...first the one way bearing on starter is bad so i kick start it which starts fine but click in gear blaaa it stalls so with that i tried to kick over with it off an in gear it does lurch forward. so that would indicate the one way bearing right but i got one question with that when i put in gear and it dies it does not try to lurch forward. u would think it would...so if any one has a comment on that please do...
second.. unplugging the neutral wire when running also makes it die...
so do i have two problems?
i would like to ad when it idles it almost acts like the choke is on or loading up.ive been threw the carb, n float, blow off n ht an has new fuel pump... if its a CDI issue i wondered if the cdi is stuck in advance mode causing a rich setting...
