MY key switch is acting up.i can get the key in(99.9% of the time) and then it wont turn,i am almost positive there is no water in it.My friend is having troubles too,his key wont come out...any suggestions?

Squirt some lock de-icer in your key ignition, and the one with the key in it too.

take the key switch off. and put a kill switch on instead. thats what i have on my 250r

I just put a tether on my 2001, as far as I know you have to leave on the key switch. You gotta turn the thing on ya know. If it is possible to remove the key switch let me know.

may i suggest one of the 2 universal solutions that can solve any and all problems, duct tape, and the all mighty hammer, use the hammer... the bigger the better!!!
