Hey all, a friend let me use his quad for the weekend as a trial run. I am thinking of buying it and took it for a run down the street. Riding in 5th gear I thought I still had a gear left , when I tried shifting again, the tranny downshifted...it happened several times. This bike would be for the wife so I want something reliable and easy to ride. Is this normal? Seems dangerous to me...heading down a straight-away thinkin you have another gear left and the bike downshifts, almost sending you over the bars..what could be wrong? Thx..

 

get a Polaris...easy 2 ride...just go !!!

I think the Foreman is a pretty low geared Utility ATV like my Yamaha Big Bear was. Its in top gears yet still screaming . Your always looking for the non existing 6th gear.
