As far as i know nobody makes fuel injection systems that you can add to a quad.
Even if they did the price they would want for such a system wouldn't be worth paying because an efi system in itself doesnt really add hp unless your jetting is totally off.

One other thing....
If you really wanted to try something different you probably try converting a fuel injection system from a sportbike to your quad. The one big problem you would run into would be that most, if not all motorcycles with fuel injection are two or more cylinders and you'll need a single cylinder system.

Mike, no horsepower gian with EFI? I'm no master mechanic, but I'd have to disagree with that one. Maybe you wouldn't see big gains on a dry day at sea level, but if you went up to 8,000 ft in the rain an EFI equipped bike would walk all over a carbed one. Also the throtle response would be much better, making the quad faster overall. It would cost a fortune, though and you'd have to take it in to get it adjusted unless you have a PHD in rocket science.

The reason i asked is because I was reading about this guys DS and he had a turbo/EFI he said the EFI alone cost 3500 but with the new cannondale coming out i was thinking that maybe some aftermarket companys would consider making EFI's at a price the normal guy could afford.

First of all i added in my first post that you wouldnt gain any power unless you arent jetted correctly. If you are jetted properly to run at 8000 ft then you will run just as good as a efi quad. The only time you will see a good increase in power is if you leave your jetting the way it is and go to a different sea level...the efi quad will adjust automatically.
You will get better throttle response but not enough to account for spending what? $1000+? on a fuel injection setup.
Just take a look at carbed cars and efi cars. The efi car isnt any faster than the carb car as long as everything else is the same and the carb is jetted properly. Sure you'll have better response, gas mileage and a smoother reving engine but it wont make more power....or at least not that much more.
Put it this way. Why spend whatever an efi system costs (or would cost if available) when you could buy a 440kit for the same price? If you want to spend that cash on the fuel injection be my guest but i'm not going to, and i'm sure most other people would agree.

I forgot to add....
Adding some type of power adder such as a turbo is when you will see the most benifit from the efi because you wont have to re-jet a million times to get the right fuel/air ratio. Besides that the efi will get the most out of that type of power adder.

If you are still interested in efi, call GP Engineering in Garden City, KS. Their phone number is 1-316-276-3863.

Well I think you could get a LITTLE more HP from EFI because EFI (some times) sprays a finer mist into the air. but would that be worth the money (The prices I have heard of are $2600 and up)? I do not think it would spend that money on some other Mods unless you have nothing else you can do.
