Never really noticed this before, but I changed my clutch cable because the old one snapped and right before the old one went, I noticed it was getting harder and harder to get into neutral. Now with the new cable it's still the same. Maybe I just need to wear my boots and try, but should it really be that hard? Hope something bad isn't wrong with my tranny because I have no money to fix a big deal like that. Weird thing is, it will go into neutral when I shut it off and try, any ideas?

I have noticed the same thing with my ex. I have replaced the cable with a motion pro and the clutch with a tusk hd kit. When I replaced the clutch I had minimal grooving in the basket but did not bother to file the grooves out. I think that's where the problems lie.

 

I figured it out, just didn't have the clutch cable adjusted right, works like butter now; thanks for the responses everyone!
