carrier bearing and chain ????
I am currently replacing the carrier bearings in my 01 400 ex I am kind of new to this repairs. my ? is what's a good way to remove the bearings from the carrier, do they come out from only one side or the sides the are on? second ? while I am waiting for parts I figured I would change the sprockets and chain what is a good way to get the chain off? cant seem to find a master link on the stock chain.

we carry replacement bearing carriers for $120 (cast) made by lonestar. Its way easier to just replace the whole thing and not much more money then buying bearings alone.
only problem is that the 400ex cast carrier is about 3 weeks out.
I will have the billet carrier for 150 and those will be in next week.
