4 wheeldrive not working

Default 4 wheeldrive not working

I have a 97 Honda foreman and I have no power to the front wheels. Any help will be greatly appricated.

I would check afew things to narrow things...I first would see if front shaft coming out of engine is turn when in gear? If does seeif turn impeller shaft is turning [drive shaft] to the front final drive? If it does take filler plug off of final [were you fill the oil in final drive] see if gear inside is turning? My guess would be the engine shaft is turning but drive isnt..The most popular failed part is the coupler or couplers between the drive shaft. Honda had issue with the couplers joints getting dirt inside splines an mud would build up on splines an cause splines to wear an start slipping.

Check out photo number #7 and #14 these could be your problem if engine shaft is turning IMO..Hope this will help you.Plz give us an update.
