the battery was working fine for awhile until my voltage regulator bolts came loose and it was just flopping around eventually the regulator came off and i had to use the quad without it then i found the regulator one day plugged it in and it wasnt working well come to find out it was broken on one of the little metal connectors so i bought a new one and still not working im just thinking that usage with out the regulator ruined the battery from it dying then having to recharge until it died again i just wanna make sure so i dont buy any unnecessary parts

 

You answered your own question. Have the battery load tested. It's probably bad.
