Hand and thumb warmer intallation
I bought a kit from Bronco ATV and I have everything (grips, controller) installed except the thumb warmer. The instructions suck and say nothing about how to install the thumb warmer. In the pictures I have the thumb warmer element, a piece of foam, a piece of sandpaper, and heatshrink. How do I install this? Do I mount it on the thumb side with the metal element facing the thumb or towards the throttle lever or on the back side of the throttle lever? It gets pretty darn hot so I think mounting to the back side of the lever so it heats up the whole lever. Also I assume you cut the original plastic off the lever.

I have always stuck them so the heated pad is towards your thumb. Abrade the throttle lever where your thumb goes with the sandpaper, stick one side of the foam pad to the back of the thumb warmer, then stick the other side to the throttle lever so that it does not overhang too much and clears the handlebar grip, wires towards the middle of the ATV of course. Slide the heat shrink tube over the warmer and lever, heat the tube with a hair dryer or blowlamp (don’t overdo it) so it tightens round the warmer and lever.
