I like this one . 2005 Rubicon with winch $3450 the stock tires are not even worn.
2005 Honda Rubicon 500

Sure beats $8000 with no winch new. http://www.powersportsnetwork.com/en...cleCode=297081

That is the bad part about this type of transmission. Yeah, it may last forever but when it does go out, it is very costly. I don't think I would fix it. Yeah, 1,500 is much cheaper than buying a new one but like some other people have said, the rest of the bike has 17,000 miles on it. Has anything been done to the engine? That would be my next concern.

Specta, now I maybe I will be able to catch up to you, jk. Almost 13,000 miles and still going although it has a few issues that need fixing.

I don't like the front locker either. There just doesn't seem to be a need to be able to apply a little or a lot "locking action". I'd rather have a on/off switch.

I really liked the one I rode last year - it was a 2012 SE and I put just over 400 miles on it.

Pretty much everything is untouched - including the brakes.

I just replace all 4 tie rod ends, I've replaced the upper control arm bushings and shafts several times, one ball joint and 2 l/r axle bearings and a couple of brake cables - over all its been a great machine.

Not bad - riding here in the winter I really want a little more power than what the Rubicons have and I'm really not interested in anything else Honda makes.

thanks for the link
