Utah,
If you think about it yes. But the main reason for me buying a sled trailer was its simplicity. They tow real nice from what many guys have told me. If I use my alum ramps it will take me all of 3 minutes with out hasseling with driving one half way straping it down, putting the other all the way on, or just about any combo that the guys listed in this post. No mater what way you use it with just the tilt, Im sure with the nice ramps I have it would be faster. All of you guys make great points(except the one about climbing the trailer with mud tires. My back hurts just thinking about it) I will let you know what works best for me in the near future.

Here is how I load 2 quads onto a tilt bed:

One of them needs a working parking brake. I drive the brake-able quad up just to the point before the bed tilts to transport postion. Lock the pkb. Then I drive the other quad up until the bed just starts to tilt down, then carefully ease forward until the bed drops. I try to do it so the bed does not "slam" down.

Default Question.

Hello. I just picked up an 8x8 tilt trailer. My question is loading it. I have a 2024 Kodiak 450 and my son has a small 125 Chinese atv. What would be your recommendations on placement when loading it for weight distribution since they are not the same weight? Side by side doesn’t seem like the way to go. His atv is much smaller than mine so I was thinking having mine slightly off center and his on the opposite side. Thoughts? Thanks
