1986 honda trx350 4x4 cutting out
I have a 1986 Honda trx350 4x4 that is cutting out when you give it the gas.
I have just rebuilt the carb, and the screws were stripped out so I couldn't
replace the needle valve. I did replace all the jets, and cleaned everything
real good.
The carb is now reinstalled, it starts and idles fine, it will rev up if you do it slowly. It will cut out and die if you give it the throttle real quick.
So could my problem be because I couldn't replace the needle valve, but did replace the main jet???
Should I put the old main jet back in to go with the old needle valve, or does it even matter???
Any answers, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

You might try draining the gas out. make sure there's nothing in the lines. and put fresh fuel in it.
another thing might be the float clearance, or a slightly clogged jet...
