TRX90 Air Filter question?

TRX90 Air Filter question?
So the TRX90 that I bought my son had a K&N filter installed so I bought a Uni filter online to replace it. Problem is that the Uni filter I bought (NU-4127ST) is just a filter with no core support, cap or flange to create a seal with the air box. Is it meant to be used with the stock holder or is there something else that I need to buy from Uni?
