Whats better a 400 EX or the 350 Warrior?
#21
Hands down the 400ex beats the Warrior at everything. I have plenty of riding time on both since I bought a new Warrior in the spring of '99 (only because I wasn't allowed to get the 400) and my cousin has a 2000 400ex. When I got the Warrior, I rode it constantly, then modded it and rode it some more. But after 4 months I was completely sick of it and I wanted something better. That was right after I got to ride a 400ex for the first time. So I sold the Warrior and bought a Quadracer, which is a little faster than a 400ex. What a difference in power and especially handling between the 400ex and the Warrior. I used to think reverse was necessary, but heck, I'm 22 and not having reverse is no big deal on a light quad like that. And I do a good deal of riding in the woods. Anyways, Honda makes up for the lack of reverse everywhere else. So unless money is an issue, I wouldn't even consider a Warrior over a 400ex. That's just the honest opinion of somebody who's spent a lot of time on both of those machines.

Congrats on your decision, I'm sure you're gonna love it. Just make sure you buy some gear while you're at it.
And YZguy, Yes I have a kill switch, and anyone that a bit crazy sometime will have an occasional wipeout. A little extra insurance doesn't hurt. I also wear a helmet, do you have an issue with that, too?
An as far as the Warrior being a clunker because the 400ex is more advanced and has a better power to weight ratio, would that mean that, because the Cannondale is more advanced and has a better power to weight ratio yet, that when it comes out, the 400ex officially becomes a clunker, too? I don't think so.
