Now this is the way a forum is supposed to work...no bashing, trashing of each other or their rides.Just sticking to the topic & stating their preferences.
To certain others(and you know who you are),review this thread whenever you're prompted to go off on a tangent!

The 300 EX is better for trails by a long shot. It has better shocks, better turning in the sharp woods, and who can 4-get that easy clutch?

Rob,

Get the 400ex. The only thing missing is reverse, but you get a much more capapble machine.

If not the 400, then the 300, as I mentioned before.

I'm glad to see this subject getting discussed. I'll be getting the Mrs. a quad soon and these are the two that I'm looking at.

Oh, and Cal's right, this is the way the forums are supposed to work. Probably because no one mentioned a particular brand of quad made in MN...

I own a 98 300EX. I have ridden a couple people's Warriors and I still like the 300 better. It feels so much lighter, suspension is better, and the turning radius is great! I put a pipe, K&N filter, DynoJet kit, White Brothers E-Series pipe, and some ITP Holeshot XCTs on mine and it goes just about anywhere you want it to and without any problems.
