I have a 95' trx200d, the exhaust pipe works but needs replacing. Can I cut it off at the pipe and buy a universal pipe and weld it on?

 

Yes, it may knock performance slightly, it may not. Had a friend with a Morini V twin motorcycle who bought a stainless car silencer (muffler) and fitted it to the Morini. The bike was quieter and he said performance improved, it looked a bit odd though.
