I've read on here that the Hondas don't have grease fittings, but since I obviously have a lubrication problem with the front wheels I'm wonder what I need to do.

I read someone say just to spray lithium grease, is this sufficient? Where should I spray?

Is there a youtube video or something on how to lube the front wheels/a-arm?

I'm new to ATVs. I want to learn all the good maintenance practices to keep this running as long as possible.

P.S. I've heard rumors that there is a foot shift lever you can get for the electric shift system. Is this bad for the transmission? Haven't heard anything conclusive.

Are you sure its the wheel and not the shock bushing dry?

 

It doesn't make sound when I put weight on the shocks only when I roll it forward. Would this be the case of the shock bushing was dry?

 

Hmm it could be the brakes that are squeaking not the wheels it self.

 

Could be worn brake pads, could be wheel bearings, if it is a 4x4, could be part of that system.

 

2x4 Honda 350s have rubber shielded "sealed for life" bearings so you would have to take them apart, they can get dry. 4x4 350s are a source of trouble on the front wheel bearings as the outer races get to turning in the housings, all the 4WD Hondas are the same, this leads to excessive play at the wheel rim. For some unknown reason 350 steering knuckle assemblies are three times the price of 300s, 400s, 420s etc. Lift the front wheels up, check for play and take the squeaky wheel apart, checking brake shoes, and hub assemblies, you can put grease round the 4WD bearings whilst the knuckle assy is off the driveshaft.
