Okay sorry about that, I did find that bolt and have let it sit for a while. The starter is fine now. I bypass the solenoid because I'm pretty sure the solenoid is no good. My problem is that the four wheeler will only start if I rev the engine way up as soon as it fires. And it won't idle, it dies right away if I don't hold the throttle.

 

Have you changed anything since it ran properly? Since it sat, I would be looking for a clogged pilot.
