I've decided on getting the E-series slip on for my 300EX. for all of you that have one, is there any advice you could give me? does the pipe come with detailed instructions? I'm going to be riding between 500-1200ft elevation, will this effect the jet I choose?

also, I plan on running with the stock filter and a outerwears air box lid.

I don't have any experience with pipes or jets, so any advice or tips would be a great help.

I have a white brothers pro meg and works head pipe. It ran like stock when i first got it because with the stock jet it wasnt getting enough gas with the added horse power, so i changes the jet to 128 for the winter and i now have a 124 main and no disks or sparkarester for more topend for hill climbing. You will be very satisfied with your pipe once its tuned in proberly.

well I downloaded the manual from white bros for the 300ex. in it they explane how they made the pipe to work with the stock jetting. they even had a dyno reading of a 300ex with stock jetting and a e-series pro meg with 12 discs installed. the reading showed 5% increse in HP and a 6% increse in torque. seems pretty simple, and they give tips for jetting if I decide to do any air intake mods.
