Just do it. If it has a carburettor, turn the fuel off, and a tank above half full is liable to leak out of the filler cap or vent. I use a hoist, but two people can lift the front end of a 500 Foreman skywards, put the handbrake on first if you are lifting it "by hand". It sits on the back plastics but is not all that safe, so a prop may be needed.

I have a wand with a curved end for my power washer, that squirts water up into the frame when I just stand there, found the tip on e-bay. Do have to be carefull as the first couple times I used it I sprayed water up into my own face.

If you have a winch, you can use that to lift the front. I have done that myself before and a friend of mine used to do it all the time to clean out his Grizzly underneath.

My other option is a set of drive up ramps for my car, they will get the machine up high enough to spray underneath.
