2002 honda 450 foreman ES frnt wheel bearings

can any body tell me if we need special tools to change the front hub bearings,been riding with a loose left front for a while, but want to change it with some new bearing seal kit, thanks for any info

No special tools required. A press is handy to remove the old bearings and press in the new ones, but the "suitable sized socket" and hammer method works. In fact, one problem with all Honda 4WD front hubs is the outer bearing shell going round in the knuckle and wearing it, so the new bearing is loose in the knuckle assembly. I always run Loctite "bearing fit" round the outside of the new bearing to try to stop this, but a badly worn knuckle will need replacement.
