Go to Powroll.com, and you can see all their kits. I am pretty sure they show you what you can do with a stock sleeve and then what you can do with a big bore sleeve and or a stroker.
Boring is different from sleeving. Sleeving becomes necessary when you have bored your cylinder to the max that the stock sleeve will allow. Like my 440 sleeve is thicker than the stock 400EX sleeve. Also, with the 400EXs and 300EXs you can get a tapered sleeve or a sleeve that is the same thickness top to bottom. If you go with a non tapered sleeve you will also have to get your cases bored to allow for it.
