The only thing I know is preventive maintenance. Put clear plastic coating over the atvs plastic. Many people put it were their legs and boots scuff up the plastic. Other than that there is not much that can be done.

You cant do anything about the scratches, however, you can sure make them look ALOT better by spraying the ENTIRE plastics with Armour All,and the mud washes off ALOT easier to,

They have this new stuff out for scratches, it called "get used to it"! hehe! actually when i first rode my quad, i could believe the scratches from my boots, keychain, branches, etc.! well since then i have gotten used to it! its a shame you pay all this money for a quad and the thing looks new for a week.

Muddy4life has the right idea.
Armour All is the best thing to somewhat hide those scratches and it really makes your quad look like it came off the show room floor.
Two thumbs up for Armour All

You might try an old trick that I read somewhere that worked in getting scratches out of eyeglass lenses. Common toothpaste works great as a buffing agent.

Armoral has a new product out... It is much better than the original for making your plastic look new again! I don't remember the name of it, but you can get it at any auto parts store.
