Hi , i have just purchased a 2006 Honda Fourtrax 250 and i am wanting to put bigger wheels on both front and rear for better ground clearance . Do you have any suggestions for me please . Malc .

 

At the rear, you may not need bigger wheels, just bigger tyres, those 9" rear rims are the same as fitted to many Honda 3 wheelers and they had huge balloon tyres, we fit standard rims with tyres that just clear the footwell plastics at the rear, and did try some 3 wheeler ones, but they fouled there. At the front, you may want bigger rims, could try 12" Honda front wheels, as you don't want to go for much wider tyres, it makes steering heavy.
