Default 2018 Foreman sputtering issue

Hello, I have a 2018 Foreman that idles fine and will run fine if I ease on the throttle. If I accelerate quickly or try to climb a hill it spits and sputters. I haven't had time to tear into it yet and wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue? I have a few ideas on where to start, but any experienced suggestions would be great. I do all of my own work on my atv's, cars, and equipment, so I am somewhat of a mechanic. Just wondering what other gear heads think of this issue.

My thoughts were to check the spark plugs, fuel filter and air cleaner first, then move on to the fuel delivery system (injectors and fuel pump). If it isn't any of those, check the valve adjustment.

Information from anyone who has had this issue or experience with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
John

You are exactly right in your "where to start," plug first (there is only one) then fuel filter. The fuel pump is alongside it but usually either works, or doesn't. I rarely come across one that produces low pressure if the filter is OK. Very rarely on Hondas, the filter inside the injector can need cleaning, but I would see how it goes with new fuel filter and plug before blowing the injector out. Conversely, Suzukis almost always block the injector first, a blow out with an air line fixes them.
