400EX front spindles on a 250R

Have heard a fart in the wind that 400EX spindles will work on 250R's. They are alum and lighter from what I hear. Is it a pretty straight forward swap, a little work, all new stuff....basically need the info....

I heard they just bolt right up. The spindles are easy interchangeable and no extra hardware or modification is needed

If you plan on using the 250R brakes, you'll have to buy some brackets. Otherwise, you'll have to buy 400EX brakes.

Baldwin Motorsports makes the brackets. They sell for about $199.95 a set:

i have also done it and used the 400ex calipers
