Default Need some advice on tires/rims. Trying to avoid a getting a lift kit

I recently got a 2019 Honda Foreman 500 and I'm trying to figure out the tallest wheel/tire combination I can put on it. Should I go with a taller diameter rim or just a taller tire. What can I get away with clearance wise?

I'm trying to avoid a lift kit. I'm just trying to make it sit up as high as I can without a kit.

Thanks for any input y'all have. Been a while since I've been here but it's a great community.

Check out what you can get to fit 12" rims. 26" OD should fit under the plastics, limiting factor is how much clearance at the back between footwell plastic and axle, and if the fronts hit the plastics on full lock. 27" may be pushing it. I rebuilt a 2010 500 gearbox last week and noted a tyre had been rubbing on the silencer, so the owner had overdone the width of tyre a bit can't remember what they were, probably 25 x 12 x 12. Tread makes a difference too, the flat tread of the Executioner is more likely to hit plastics than the rounded profile of the Wildcat.
