I have a couple questions for you guys.
I am 14 and now living in SD. But will soon be moving to TX.My Problem is that here i am old enough to have a drivers license so i was planning on buying a truck then later on buying an atv.
But now i am moving so the TX laws are Diff. and i will have to be 16 to drive so i was thinking about buying a new 400ex.
My parents think i should use the money i have saved as a down payment for the truck to keep saving and buy a truck in a few years.
But the way i see it there are a lot more trails and riding areas in TX and i Might as well have some fun riding a quad while saving for the truck.
then if i decide to get the truck later i could sell the atv and be out about a thousand or 1500 dollars(i still think its worth it).

Please Give Me Your opinions I Dont know what to do!!

 

Get a 400EX you will have plenty of time for trucks and girls. Now enjoy your kid years.

I am in the same situtuation i decided to compramise and buy a cheaper truck and a cheaper quad(used). I might still ahave to sell my r to buy a truck but i will be able to drive to get one for cheap somewhere. Your going to have alot more fun on a quad than in a truck.

 

Looks like to me, you already made your decision....I don't see your name being, "ford" or "chevy"

Save the money. At 14 why on earth would any state let you drive a car. Buy an older quad and learn to ride, then in a couple years sell it for the same as you bought it for and get a new bike. If you have to spend the money buy the quad. I think you would be safer on it than driving a car at 14 years old.

 

I'm also 14 and if it was me I would buy the fourwheeler.You have plenty enough time to get a truck.
