Check for a spark at the plug, in neutral, then in 1st, using the pull start. On most carburettor equipped Hondas there is a wire from the neutral light circuit to the CDI, this gives a better spark in neutral. As it is a negative wire, it is possible the main neg for the CDI is broken, so it only gets a neg, and therefore a spark, in neutral. This is bad for the CDI and could kill it, so check it.

If you are getting a spark in 1st, it could be the centrifugal clutch jammed engaged. Engine off, put in 1st, roll the bike backwards, it should roll freely. Roll forwards and it should try to turn the engine. If it is trying to turn the engine both ways, the clutch is stuck.
