silly question ?..when checking the oil !

I HATE TO INFORM EVERYONE, BUT PER THE HONDA DEALER WHERE I LIVE THE MANUEL CLEARLY STATES TO STICK IN THE DIP STICK AND SCREW IT DOWN TO GET A CORRECT LEVEL.. I'LL GO WITH THE DEALER.

my 2001 400EX manual say not to screw it at all.

How can that be? When I stick it in im allways screwing...


lol sorry guys just had to say it.. On my rancher your not supposed to screw it in. just dip.

I worked as a tech at a honda shop. All honda are the same. do NOT screw in the dipstick to check the oil.
