I just got the 300ex back from the shop. I couldn't get the carb apart (really tight screws) so while they were in there i just had them put in the 128 main jet also. When i got it home today and started it up, it was idling real fast and didn't sound good at all. What do i need to change to make it idle better? I turned the idle screw but it didn't seem to do anything. Also, for that, which way makes it faster/slower? All i have on it is a k&n with outerwear and vented air box lid. One more thing, the k&n instructions said to put the needle on the 4th groove (i can't remember for sure) but how do i do that and is it in the top or the bottom of the carb? Thanks for your responses
