I'm looking for a 400ex as I rode one today and wheelied it for as long as I wanted. Wheelie's are my favorite thing to do and the 400ex is the wheelie master. I have a 1 month old raptor with Full PRM skids, GYT-R Exhaust. PRM Desert front bumper and rear Grab Bar, Jet kit, Pro-Design Air filter kit, 12 tooth front sprocket and shock covers. Bike is in perfect shape with 5 months remaining on the factory warranty. I have around $7500 into it, I'm in the Boston Area. I'm looking for a mint 400 ex plus some cash for the raptor. No silly offers please.

Sory but in my opinion the Raptor is alot better at whelies. The 400 cant even pull the front end up in 3rd barely, the Raptor you just gun it in any gear and it goes up, and it ballances just as good. You will be dissapointed if you do trade.

Sorry but I wasnt asking for opinions on this post. I have a Raptor and DROVE a pipped ans jetted 400ex today and like I said the 400ex handles much better and will out wheelie the Raptor anyday. Also 3rd gear wheelies where not a problem.

You will be crying on the forum in a few months after you make that trade.

Sorry but this has nothing to do with reliability just Wheelieability!! I'm a Wheelie junkie and the 400ex seems to be the wheelie king. When straight up and down the 400ex will still run fine but the raptor cuts out making long wheelies impossible. Sure I can power the Raptor up in 3rd and ride it for 50 yards but with the 400ex I can literly keep it up until my arms gave out or ran out of gas!

Please don't take this as rude. but I have to ask what exactly about riding wheelies is so fun that you would label yourself as a "wheelie junkie" and trade a machine because of it? I think wheelies are fun and all, but to me they just seem like something to do when taking off to the trail for some fast riding.

i like wheelies to, im still learning but they are fun. the 400EX is great for them and im glad you are going to get one. when you do get one you will probably want to pipe it, go for the white brothers e-series pro meg, its the best overall and at 3,500rpm's.
glad to see your havin fun!

Try putting an ad in the WantAdPress or try e-bay and just sell the Raptor for cash. I say that because i have seen used 400ex's in the 4200-4500 range but for a mint one maybe more.
