Tire sizes

Let me just say this. The smaller in height the rear tire the slower and the taller the faster. If you are saying you want something skinnier and less weight to be faster then you could go with a 22x10x8. Oh by the way ANYTHING fill fit as long as the last number is 8 on the sidewall which matches yours. Maybe that helps.

The first number is the TIRE DIAMETER (HEIGHT); second is the TIRE WIDTH; third is the RIM DIAMETER. If you want to keep the same rims, you must get a ?X?X8 tire. A tire with shorter height (like a 20X11X8) will effectively LOWER your gearing, ie. it will give you more BOTTOM END torque, but at the expense of top end speed (you will lose an inch of ground clearance too!). Conversley a taller tire (like a 22X11X8) will give higher top speed, but will sacrifice low end power.
