I've saw black 250x plastic before. Maier can get any color. Just pick up a dirtwheels mag and look at one of their adds or go to www.maier.com or maybe www.maierracing.com, i dunno can't remember, and see.

I would spend the extra money and go with stock honda plastic...service honda offers it really cheap their number is 1-800-828-5498, ask for brian if possible, it's a lot better quailty, plus i feel that maier plastic is junk...!!just my opinion!!...because it is thinner and doesn't have a shine to it, and cracks and bends too easily.

True, You can get factory black plastic for your quad by getting 300EX parts. Different years had black front fenders, black hoods, black handlebar cover, black gas tank cover and black headlight plastic. By mixing and matching the years you can get a whole black front end. You can also get a black seat. Honda never made black rear fenders though so you'll have to go to Maier for that. You should be able to get yellow plastic from Honda soon too because the 2002's will be available in yellow. Good luck!

Maier does make black plastic, I had it on one of my ex's. I think it is stronger than stock, you dont need half of the stock brackets because the plastic is sturdier. As for the color, it is dull but a shot of clearcoat can cure that.I run maier plastic on all my quads and never had a problem with breaking, as I have with stock plasic, and its cheaper too.to get the custom colors you'll have to order factory direct. Their addressnull Hope this helps!

do you add a flex agent to the clear coat and do you need to spray something on the plastic to make the clearcoat adhear to the plastic? and how long will it stay on without looking like crap? will it come of if the plastic gets scratched ? Thanks
