my friends and i all ride. I have a 300ex my friend had a blaster but switched to a 300ex and another one of my friends had a mojave but switched to a 300ex. There is only one person with a blaster left.. but he is also switching either to a 300ex or a 400ex.. today one of my friends with a 300ex and I were riding with our friend with a raptor who switched from a blaster. We wanted to go play in the mud today so we ventured over to my streem.. we were playin around in that for a while and every once in a while the raptor would get stuck, but not the 300's. That got boring so we went over to a mud pit that i like to call the pit of hell.. We were all playin in it and both of the other quads were getting stuck but i wasnt because i just bought new tires. It seemed that every two seconds i would have to get off my quad and either pull the raptor out of push it.. I was impressed with it so far except for today.. I think the only thing this thing is good for is the dunes.. I now hate this quad it has way to much power for the wieght.. It couldnt go thru anything.. the other 300 did get stuck a couple of times but he could get himself out.. this raptor got stuck constanty.. I HATE YAMAHA

 

..and the point of this post is????? Quads DO get stuck


..looks like another quad bashing post to me. I'm really getting sick of this 10 year old attitude,mine is better than yours crap!

I totally agree with ya VWVR6. Let's grow up around here. I recently rode a raptor and it was fun. I still love my 400ex but I still enjoyed riding the raptor. We all ride and should be helping each other not bashing each other. What we each choose to ride is own business. I don't bash those that drive 4x4's. They some day may be pulling my burried 400ex out of the "pit of hell." Ride on. Later.

I would expect a 300ex to go trough more than a Raptor, the 300 has 22" tires and the Raptor has 20" tires. If you want to make the Raptor to go trough more mud you got to hit it more aggressively, or switch to 22" tires.

 

hey 400EXcitement, where in wi are ya from? the reason the raptor gets stuck is because it has large amounts of torque (there, a honda boy admits a raptor is better at something) this actually hurts it in the mud because it just wants to spin the tires, good for sand, not good for mud. ever notice how much a honda 300 2x4 can get through? small power, just putts through.
