250EX TOP speed
#2
I have a 250ex and it goes around 52-54 mph. It has a full chassis skidplate and renthal handlebars. It was clocked at the local dragstrip which is a 100 yards long at 42 mph. This was stock. It was not wide open either!!! The only downside I've found was the suspension. I will fix that with either works shocks or 300ex shocks.
Im going to order a k&n filter today. Over all its a good beginner quad. I can wheeleie it through 3rd.

I've had a 250ex clocked. My 300ex with a speedometer ran right beside of it. We probably went 200 yards and it didn't get over 52. I'd hope that that was the top speed. Most ATVs don't take 200 yards to get to top speed. Oh and the speedometer is exremely accurate. So far the farthest its been off with a car is about .2 mph. Its been checked by many diffent people.

My Honda 250ex goes 52mph on the road. A good atv for riding wheelies. I can ride wheelies up to 4th gear. I raced my brothers 3.4liter v6 firebird and almost beat him in the eight mile. I beat him off the line but he caught up just before the eight mile mark.

Thats the most BS I've ever heard. There is no way a 52 mph quad can beat a 120+ mph car. Espicially not 8 miles. Maybe you mean 8 inches. I can believe you beating the V6 Firebird off the line, but there is no way you beat it 8 miles. You wouldn't even be able to see the Firebird. And I would like to know where this 8 miles is? Well then again you might could have beat him...if the course you were running on had a curve every 5 feet. Man people lie on here but my gosh...it ain't this obvious.
