Quads more expensive in the Northwest?
#1
Well I live in the Northwest and every dealer I have been to always as the same price as MSRP. Which is before Tax, Freight, Set up, and Licensing which bring the price up about 1k. But when I go to websites from dealers in other parts of the country quads are almost almost a few hundred less than MSRP out the door!
So basically I want to know how hard it is to ship quads from other dealers around the world, and if anyone who lives in the Northwest knows of a dealer who is cheap?

I don't know where you live in Washington, but I bought a Rubicon from Forest Grove Honda (about 30 minutes west of Portland) for $6000 delivered to my driveway. This was when Honda had the $300 bonus $ deals. This dealer is a small town, low key place and I would recommend them to anyone.

Like others have said, not sure what brand of quad you want, but I've had great luck and good prices with my dealer (Arctic Cat) at High Desert Marine, in Hermiston, Oregon-about a half-hour drive from the Tri-Cities. Also, USA Honda(???) I think is the name, in Walla Walla has had pretty good deals in the past on Honda's and AC's both-might be worth a try.
One comment though-don't let the dealer charge you at all for "set-up" fees! The dealers are paid by the manufacturer for all set-ups. Freight maybe, delivery to your door-yes, but not "set-up" fees. If they try charging you for that, you'd better knock them down a few hunderd bucks, or no deal, they've already been paid for that.
Another thing-like car dealers, try jumping from dealer to dealer, getting a "cheaper price" over there, "will you match or beat it???" I couldn't get the Honda or Polaris guys to budge at all on price, but the price of the 'Cat kept dropping at every dealer I went too-try it and see.
Best of luck in the search,
Mike

Give AllSport a call, they are in Spokane. I got sick of dealing with the money grubbers in Coeur d'Alene, ID trying to tell me they don't have the margin to move on the price (yeah right) So I called their owner, told him I was taking my business out of town and why...then went over to Spokane to meet the owner of AllSport, Eric Holt, nice guy didn't want to haggle, so I said Eric, I am not buying a new car here, give me $200 off list, and waive the freight and setup and I will buy a Rancher right now...
Nop problems at all, he's quite honest. Give them a ring 509-926-5044
