wonderin about this with the high gas prices... but has anyone made or seen a 400EX that is street legal? if so what was on it besides a horn and brake light??? or does anyone know of any kits to street liscense atv's? any help would be appreciated

i've heard that its not possible to legalize sport quads, not sure if this is tru though.

what is everyones gas prices?? just curious... ours are down to 1.24!!

well i'm sure most quads are liscensable.. our gas price last i checked was like 2 days ago and i think they were around 1.67 and 1.72, i dont remeber premium

This street legal question pops at least once a week lately it seems. Anyway, the answer is that it depends on the state you live in. It's not a sport/utility or 2/4 stroke issue as much as it is a state law issue. I have a Banshee with Toomey pipes street legal in Wyoming.

I've seen MANY sport quads street legal (on the internet) and have seen 1 utility quad street legal on the internet.

brake light, horn, parking brake, turn signals, low beam-high beam, street tires, rearview mirrors

Regular-1.87
Plus-1.97
Super-2.07
(note these prices are not by the farm but by Washington D.C.) so most of you can stop whining about YOUR prices.

At this one gas station in Valporasio Indiana.. A Speedway it is.. It was a 1.02 i was like [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] but.. it varies from 1.15 to like 1.31.. its crazy up here..

i live in the sticks and the gas prices are close to 2, not just a city thing.

I have also been looking for information on legalizing my quad I know it can be done in Missouri but I havent been able to find the exact requirements. It may be a rumor but someone said you license it as an automobile not a motorcycle ! Any new information would be sweet !!
