With the 300ex you HAVE to go with a complete system. The stock headpipe is small and very restrictive ( unlike the 400ex). I have had a DG ( didn't like it) Curtis Sparks ( great power but no spark arrestor and fell apart after a year) and my last pipe was a Supertrapp headpipe with a TC Supertrapp race shorty converted to run 12 discs so I was still trail legal. You should be able to get a power up kit with jets, filter and pipe for that price. Good Luck.

i love my white brothers e-series. i'm not going to argue which exhaust is better, because you can't go wrong with most of them. I wouldn't reccomend getting DG. I had one at first but it was way to loud and offered nothing but throttle response, which my white brothers and every other pipe does as well. DG is loud and cheap. You get what you pay for. Don't get it. You might as well run an open header cause you will get the same effect.

Look at the last several issues of 4-Wheel ATV Action, Dirt Wheels, and ATV Sport. They all did pipe shoot-outs in the last couple of months and...
THE WHITE BROS. e-SERIES has won all of them and in the worst case tied for first against a full-blown, loud, race pipe.
I have the White Bros. pipe and the WB Works header pipe (which is an extra $100) on my 1998 Honda 300EX, and it is awesome.
