I am going to buy a used 99 450s,400 miles on it.It needs a little tweaking I think on the front end,it looks like it "toes out" a bit more than usual.I am sure it is a simple adjustment but I do not know how to correct this.Does anybody have exp. or a manual on this fix? Please help!

You want to put a pencil mark in the middle of each tire at the center of the tread, measure the distance from mark to mark with the mark pointing fowards, running level or close to it , then rotate the tires 1/2 turn putting the mark's on the back side & then measure again.
you want this to be the same or about 1/8 closer in the front , this would be towed in 1/8"
any more then that & your tires wont last long. if your towed out your steering will be lite but tires again wont last long 0 or 1/8 is best. to adjust loosen the lock nuts on the tie rod/rods
if it's not to bad you can adjust by doing one side. hope this helps, its easier for me to do this stuff then to explain how to do it. lol.

By factory specs all Honda ATV's are Toe-out not Toe-in like cars. Use the procedure mentioned above, but adjust to 1/8" toe-out.
