"Monster Coues Deer" ?!!?? Isn't that like a "Jumbo Shrimp" ??? LOL
Are you bow hunting, gun hunting, or both ?
In Alabama, The bow season starts in October and ends 31 January 2002, Gun is second weekend in November and ends 31 Jan. The limit last year was 1 buck and 1 doe per day, talk about a liberal limit !!!
Good luck and carry plenty of water !!!

1 Buck and 1 Doe PER DAY! Good God CaptNemo, send some of them up this way would ya! We're limited to ONE deer per season (Oct. 13-26th), and that being a 3 pt. min. (one-side), unless you have a "special" doe tag.
Man, hope you have a GREAT hunting season, I'm really itching for ours to come around-can't hardly wait!
Best of luck,
Mike

The deer herd for last season was estimated at 1.6 MILLION in Alabama. The Dept. of Conservation is smart enough to use hunters to keep populations in check, unlike some other states, like California, where the librels have ruined it again.

I'm not sure. I am not home cause I'm spending the summer at my brothers house and my dad just called and told me we got drawn. So I'll keep you posted whenever I find out. I'm eager to find out but I can't get a hold of him.
