Look at it this way. A banshee is a two stroke. A 250r is a two stroke. A banshee stock has a bigger motor than a stock 250r stock. So shouldnt the banshee just beat a 250r if they were both stock? And plus if the 250r puts mods on and the banshee puts the same amount of mods on the 250r still couldnt keep up could it?? So why isnt there more banshees in racing and everything?? Just a question i have im NOT bashing the honda250r just have a question as to why everyone uses the 250r instead of the banshee. Besides I have a honda quad so thats proof I'm not bashing the 250r!

Good question , but in racing its not about all power thats why some 250rs c an beat big bore 350Rs and also the 250R is the BEST handling and better suspension then the banshee and they are cheeper to race because theres only one cylinder to bore and one piston instead of two . Also the 250R was built to dominate the track the banshee is more of a dune type machine .
just my 2 cents .

True the shee has a bigger engine, but it is also heavier, around 55 pounds. That means the banshee has to have more power just to have the same power to weight ratio as a 250R. KKKiller250x also has a point, the Banshee's supension isn't the most ideal setup for serious racing. Why else would Lonestar and other make Banshee frames with 250R suspension?
