what do i need to covert 300ex a arms to 400ex a arms? i have a 300ex and today i bent the upper a arm and i was wondering what would be needed to convert to a 400ex a arms?

I'm pretty sure it is not that easy.

 

Im not positive, but think you also need the shocks from a 400ex. Someone has a kit that would let you use the 300ex shocks with the 400ex a-arms for like $50 dollars i think. You will also need the 400ex tie rods. I however, have bought new shocks, and new a-arms from my 400ex. Would you be interested in my stock 400ex parts?

In using the 400 EX A-arms I would think that one would want to use the 400 EX shocks also since there are better than the 300 EX's. My question is can you use the 300 EX spindles or do you need the 400 EX spindles?

The thing you will run into is your shock mounts on your 300 will not match up to the 400's shocks. I know a couple people that use 400 a arms and shocks but they have to make a new upper mount for there shocks. Hope this helps!
