I got the oil cooler from FST to go with my kit and what do the two plates with the holes drilled in them go do? I zipstripped the loops down and all and cut the line and ran everything but what do the plates go to? The directions suck and worst of all they showed the oil cooler on a 400EX in the directions!!!

 

I know dude, those instructions really suck. Ive got the same oil cooler on my 300ex. I didnt have the 2 plates in my kit though. I bet there were about 15 bolts left over when mine was installed. The bolts i had left over didnt even go with the kit, who ever puts the oil cooler kits together doesnt have a clue!!!!! so i bet those plates you have arent even suppose to be there
