well....
i own a 1972 chevelle SS 454 with caul induction.. 411's gear box
unfortunatly my dad has been selling it behind my back, for 5000!!!!!!!
i told him he could get at least 10,000 or even 12,
it runs very well, and it doesnt need much cosmetic work,
i wanted to keep it,
its still ours for now, the guy hasnt paid in most of the money yet,
i hope i get to drive it before he sells it completly, i get my permit in a month....
and he is complaining about 160$ i still owe him for my quad, when he sold my car,
man, i wanted that car so bad,

my uncle has 2 cars id be interested in for 5000 and under.....
for gas mileage and enough speed to beat a ricer, 1985 dodge Shelby GT with only 12,000 original miles, its in near mint condition, cruises , and is decent on gas, but its a 4 cyl, not a bad car though....

for sick speed, maybe more then my chevelle....

My first honda was a honda mini trail 50 back in 1969. The quality on that machine beat the american cars my parents had in our garage. At that time they would have never dreamed that 32 years later that they would be driving imports from Japan. I just wish Honda would make a full size truck. 1/2ton or 3/4ton would be nice.

 

hmm.. i cant say much i'm more of the import from germany kind... all i can say is my BMW has over 87,000 miles on it and with just normal care it still runs great... its got good overall power, i cant hope for much since its only a 1996 328i BMW, if u dont know much about them its a inline 6, 2.8 liter.

 

Well, I am a 16 year fan of Ford but since the dissapearance of the Thunderbird I now am a fan of the Honda Accord V6 Coupe and the Acura CL Type-S and the RSX Type-S. My favorite sport coupe is still the Mustang Cobra though!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Hey everyone.. I agree to a point, why would you want to spend as much to get a 4banger up to a stock 350? IT'S FUN! Someone noted something about he fast and the furious.. Well hey, that 350(or was it a 454?) was modded out it's tail pipe, and so was the 4 banger. Let's see.. 350 vs 4 cylinder, what do you think? And what did they do? TIE. Man, you gotta admit, that's saying a helluva lot for a 4 cylinder!

My girlfriend recently saw that movie.. and she was like.. man, I'm tired of my "pos" stock civic. So here came the checkbook. 17" Primera 695's, wrapped in Toyo 225's, Tsunami bumper, Altezza Carbon Fiber tail lights, clear corners, blue lenses, and a raised louver. This set it off, or at least made it different than any other "chick" cars around here.. I don't know what her deal is, but she loves flames! So I took it to a hot rod shop in Cumby Tx. With 3 cans of Dodge blue, and 2 weeks, the Civic came back with a SWEET blue flame job, and shaved doors, and trunk. Then under the hood. Jackson turbo, Beltech lowering shocks, DC chrome valve cover, NGK platinum's, and more.. it's fast as hell now, and still looks good! Whatever floats your boat guys!

lol honda cars are reliable as hell, but its funny to see fools waste money on making there economy family car into a rice rocket. most people who ride quads arent into rice rockets being that there quad will smoke most rice rockets in a race lol
