I couldn't believe it but the 650 beats my bone stock 400 ex by 3-5 lengths to 55 mph. My brother in law and I are the same weight. We swapped with the same results. We raced on pavement and dirt.
Can't wait until the 650 ex comes out.

Man now if I get a 400EX I sure hope nobody around here brings a Prarie 650 to rain on my parade!

Yes, i've seen the new v-twin beat a 400ex too. They top out at 74mph and will beat a ex from bottom to top.

If they top out at 74mph, that means that they'll beat a stock Banshee, and come close to (if not tie) a Raptor.

I have never driven one (Prarie), so I can't say for sure, but that sounds kind of high. If it's true, then that's one heck of a quad...wish I could afford one.

Thats awesome that Kawasaki (and other manufactureres) are finally getting into the game, and adding high-tech, purpose designed motors instead of motors that were ripped out of a motorcycle. Congradulations Kawasaki, for finally seeing the light!(Which is hard to do when your head is up your...)

if the kawi goes 75MPH then it would have beaten the 400ex by nore then 3-5 lengths ! also i think you meant 65mph .

I haven't had it to top speed yet. My father in law hit 60.
For those races I drove the 400ex and instructed my brother in law to hit the brakes at 55. I was not gaining on him at that point. Same results when he drove the 400 ex and I drove the 650. The 650 would prob do 65 or so on top. You'd need a lot of space though. They should really put a governor on it at 45 mph. There's no need to go 65 unless you're running from the police, haha

This is the craziest thing I have heard, did you race or not. You don't stop at 55, this doesn't mean anything. Now take that thing out again and race it for real, all the way!!!!!!

I don't believe the Prairie will do 74! 65-67 is what I've read.
