weel you see i have a problume i am geting rid of my stock perch and puting on a two finger clutch lever with a reguler perch the two finger clutch lever dosent have a revers butten hole so what do i do i hate that stupid parking brake thats gone not a problume does any one make an after market asembly for the 300ex need help ???

All you havta do is follow the reverse cable from the perch to the engine. Cut it back and pull the cable out and tape it to the frame so all you havta do is pull the lever.

i took the cable off of my 250X. all you have to do is just take the cable out, and make sure that the little "****" type thing is flipped up, or back...which ever way you look at it...so it's in the on position, and then all you have to do is put the bike in neutral, then you can go into reverse. i took the cable off so i could go into reverse easier and faster cause i ride a lot of trails and i hated to have to pi$$ with that stupid button and all that other garbage. it has no effect on the transmission. but it woln't go into reverse unless the **** thing is flipped back

i did this last night to my X znd its a hole lot easier and better then the pull in the cble techneek < (spelling ?)
